The University of Manchester

The University of Manchester is a civic university, which is located in Manchester, England. In 2007-2008 studying year, it has 40,000 of students, 500 academic programs, 10,000 of the working staff. This university offers the largest amount of disciplines available to the students. The University of Manchester has the largest income than all the other universities within the UK.

The structure of the University of Manchester is as follows: it is divided into four faculties, which are in their turn, are divided into several schools.

Thus, Faculty of Medical and Human Sciences is divided into the following schools: School of Psychological Sciences, School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, School of Midwifery and Social Work, Schools of Nursing, Dentistry, Medicine.

Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences is divided into the following schools: School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering, School of Materials, School of Mathematics, School of Electric and Electrical Engineering, School of Physics and Astronomy, School of Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences, School of Chemistry and Computer Sciences, School of Chemical Engineering and Analytical Sciences.

Faculty of Humanities is divided into the following schools: Manchester Business School, School of Law and Social Sciences, School of Languages, Linguistics and Cultures, School of Drama, School of Ancient and Classics History, School of Art History, School of Arts.

Faculty of Life Sciences consists of a single school.
